Rosa

A rose is a perennial flower shrub or vine of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae, that contains over 100 species and comes in a variety of colours. The species form a group of erect shrubs, and climbing or trailing plants, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Most are native to Asia, with smaller numbers of species native to Europe, North America, and northwest Africa. Natives, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and fragrance.[1]
The leaves are alternate and pinnately compound, with sharply toothed oval-shaped leaflets. The plant’s fleshy edible fruit, which ripens in the late summer through autumn, is called a rose hip. Rose plants range in size from compact, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach 7 meters in height. Species from different parts of the world easily hybridize, which has given rise to the many types of garden roses.
The name rose comes from French, itself from Latin, rosa, which was borrowed from Oscan, from Greek rhodion (Aeolic wrodion), from Old Persian wurdi "flower" (cf. Avest. warda, Sogdian ward, Parthian wâr).[2][3]
Attar of rose is the steam-extracted essential oil from rose flowers that has been used in perfumes for centuries. Rose water, made from the rose oil, is widely used in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The French are known for their rose syrup, most commonly made from an extract of rose petals. In the United States, this French rose syrup is used to make rose scones and marshmallows.
Rose hips are occasionally made into jam, jelly, and marmalade, or are brewed for tea, primarily for their high Vitamin C content. They are also pressed and filtered to make rose hip syrup. Rose hips are also used to produce Rose hip seed oil, which is used in skin products and some makeup products.

Question by ϯιɍɍαᴎƴ™: Beauty products that you should buy from drugstores?
I know that it’s cheaper buying mascara from drugstores, plus you use it almost everyday and most drugstore mascara are close to the quality of well-known brands, but what about other products?
-Eyeliner
-Concealer
-Lip gloss
-Nail polish
-Cleansers
etc.

Seeing Things

"Well, just once in a while you get that feeling–I never look at anything. I never take time to see anything. It’s going to be over, and I won’t know–even how an apple grows." said Jim.
John Steinbeck (In Dubious Battle)
I make sure I take time to notice the little things throughout the day. I find that when I take some time to look around I notice things I’ve never seen before, like the delicacy of a Queen Anne’s Lace as the evening light hits it. I’ve never noticed the way the buds have little bird’s nests on the back, so lovely.

eyeliner is good from drugstores! try the loreal liquid one is my favorite (lunar intense I think it’s called) I’d say concealer is best bought from a dept store or sephora, my favorites are mac studio finish or benefit erase paste. Lip gloss can be bought at the drugstore too, they’re basically all the same. For nail polish I’ve never tried a drugstore brand, I love opi! Cleansers, I’m assuming you mean facial cleansers? I like clinique, but it depends on your skin! Hope this helps!

Almost all my makeup is from the durgstore, except my brushes and my blush. ^.^
ok so as a makeup artist people expect me to use everything high end .. and most of the time high end can beat drugstore but there’s alot of decent products too..
foundation n concealer is the base of all makeup so i always suggest going high end + it’s going to last you around 6months so a £22.. $ 28 foundation is worth it
lipgloss i love revlon which is kind of high end drugstore i guess but their products are wonderful, otherwise rimmel is a great alternative but personally even in high end i don’t see so many products with such a creamy mositurizing formula as revlon
polish .. i’m inlove with rimmel london 60second polish esp the colour too my favorite is the ’819 green with envy it needs 2coats like almost every polish out there, dries within 60seconds like it says and doesn’t chip but i always advise you using a top coat to seal it better
eyeliner .. loreal contour khol is the closest dupe i’ve found to mac khol liners i think it’s wonderful retails around £7 which is about.. $ 10.50 .. deffinately worth it more than 50% cheaper than mac goes on smooth generally doesn’t smudge but again even with mac i reccomend using an eyeshaddow just to set it in place OR for liquid i reccomend anything by rimmel they’re really great i reach for my fluildline by them almost every day when i’m not using the clinique cream liner which is a product i can’t live without
cleaners… no.. i can’t really reccomend anything here skin is so so different depending on the individual if you’re skins good get something like neutrogina just to upkeep it but if you have oily or acne prone skin really try something higher end pro active has worked for me in the past or better yet go see a dermatologist BUT the best moisturizer i swear by is nivea.. just because it really plumps up my skin, softens it and works as a base so i don’t actually use any primer for myself UNLESS you have visible poures in which case i reccomend the benefit i think it’s called pour filler anyway it’s a wonderful product
*also check out barry m he’s cheap ish his eyeshaddow pots are great v/pigmented not too much fall out and his other products seem very good too i’ve heard alot of good reviews on them but have only tried out the shaddows as of yet
