@AlwaysGlamour85 Totally agree with you there, seeing as this is designed for your average woman, she has used a model whose looks are far from average.

This is the most ridiculous makeup video yet. Carmindy has picked a model who either already has concealer on or has perfect skin, with perfectly groomed eyebrows or one’s that have been prepped, and either the most incredibly long eyelashes or false eyelashes- and because she has darker skin she already has visible darker contouring on her lids.
What a joke-Carmindy should be embarrassed- I am embarrassed for her. These above facts are why it took her less than 5 mins.
    Absolutely RIDICULOUS!

it is like a lotion you put on before your foundation and it makes the foundation goes on smooth and stays on longer.

Don’t ever apologize for doing a Part II to these real reviews because this is wonderful! I can respect someone who has actually purchased and used the products. As women, we love the high-end items, but most of us would like to weed out the hyped items and get on with it! Thank you! I’m going to subscribe!

@rachmarie021 oooh good idea if it’s the same color! Although I seriously use sooo little of the BM it would take me years to finish the little tub….but when I do I’ll definitely check out the everyday minerals….thanks again! ;-D

  29. rachmarie021
    November 3rd, 2010 at 13:20 | #29

lol i didnt mean for you to quit using the lm i just thought everyday minerals might be a better alternative than bare minerals to mix with your lm =].
the golden medium in everyday minerals is almost identical to the color your using in bare minerals but the finish is so much nicer and not at all drying =]

@rachmarie021 Yes I’m familiar with Bismuth and I’m certainly not a fan of Bare minerals. Nothing would ever make me stray from LMercier’s mineral powder …gawd knows I’ve talked about it enough on the channel and it was the only foundation I included in my HG vid! There really is no point in trying anything
    else ;-P……thanks anyways ;-)

    November 3rd, 2010 at 13:49 | #31

    i absolutely hate bare minerals.
it has an ingredient in it called bismuth which is used as a filler for led bullets and its turns out that i am highly allergic to it and at first it made my skin tight and dry feeling but after like the third time i used it, it literally burned the skin off of my face.
    it was horrible!
you should really try everyday minerals, my shade is golden medium and its quite yellow i think you would like it =].
its very creamy and they have 4 different formulas.

Thanks honey we have the same mentality. I brought things for hype to. Bare minerals foundation it’s ashy looking and has titanium dioxide which is used in,white paint , horrible for pictures. Don’t understand why it’s the number 1 foundation. I also tried the Bobbi Brown liner, eyeshadow and pot rouge I hated them all I am better off using NYX I no longer buy shit cause of you tube

@roxysimmons it must be very slight as I still use a tiny bit of it (as a color corrector) with my LMercier and I don’t feel a thing now….;-D

interesting to hear you talk about the bare minerals powder being itchy on your face. i tried the powders and i felt like i wanted to tear my face off because it burned and itched so badly. turned out i was allergic to bismuth. i wonder if you are having a slight allergic reaction too. bare minerals is definitely in my list of ‘don’t believe the hype’ too.

the dior amber diamond shimmer powder is an AMAZING highlighter!! im not a fan diors shadows, but LOVE the shimmer powder and bronzers..hightly recommend them. Dior bronzer is SO much better than the nars laguna. I use the one in 002 honey matte..LOVE IT!
