For starters, all lipstick is already organic. Lipstick base comes from the rendering plants after they skims the greases and fats from the top of the cookdown.

I don’t know about detergents or baby soaps but for skin products LUSH is definitely where you need to be shopping, every one of their products is made of organic natural ingredients and work a treat. Some of the products can be a little expensive but its definitely worth it.

It’s up to you to determine if this is inexpensive or not. If you are looking for the best check out:

    http://www.healthline.cc

This a company ran by Dr. Bob Marshall Biochemist/Clinical Nutritionist. He absolutely believes in and guarantees top grade Non-toxic nutrition and body care products. I use his detergents and products for overall health.

Also check what time and station his radio show airs and listen to him as he talks about common conditions and how to live a healthier lifestyle.

I used to be real sick with severe chronic fatigue and felt as though I could die any day. I didn’t know what was wrong with me, then I stumbled upon his radio show and began using his products along with his advice and a naturopath, I feel so alive now. Just like his company slogan says “Nutrition that really works”, it does! Its the real deal. I wasted 5 years trying everything else from health stores and they don’t compare at all.

Also another brand for body care is Burt’s bees which is mostly natural and good quality.

If you are serious about being organic then inexpensive is not the best. Alot of companies cheat and sell stuff not much better than “normal” food or products.

Its silly and ironic that we spend more money on our cars or other hobbies than we do on our bodies. Yeah our stuff looks great but we look and feel like crap. When I first started being really committed to organic people would always criticize by saying, “Whats the point you’re gonna die anyways, so live it up!” or “You’re gonna probably get hit by a bus so eat whatever”.

I developed a new way of thinking and told them that, “Yes I’ll die, but I’m gonna feel great most of my life, rather than, feel like crap and die a long miserable death because I neglected my body and ate trash”.

So I encourage you to stay on your organic journey and live a long joyous life.

I make my own natural laundry detergent and it only takes 5 minutes and it is very cheap. Here’s a good video of how to do it.

Miessence- certified organic products! They are amazing!!

They have a list of the toxic ingredients found in most skin/body care products…Very scary!!

PS- they have a great mom and baby line
