@sfdcMktg Hi – love the video as well. Can you tell me if you did the final production in-house? If not, our company needs a well-done video like this, and if you wouldn’t mind giving the production company a plug it would be much appreciated! If it was done in-house – congrats! Very nice!

    Thx!

Just to be clear, at this point, what you see at 2:30 to 2:40 is not real. You can’t get a bunch of buttons that links into salesforce yet.

At this point, all you get in SF is a bunch of useless “compose gmail” buttons beside contacts which only syncs with SF by bcc-ing another address.

This feature does NOT work. And hasn’t for the pat 12 months. I have discussed with Salesforce tech support for the past week and they admit it does not work and is Google’s issue.

One flaw I can see here is that it’s great if it works when you hit some bookmarklet to do the job, but it would be better if you could hook the real Send button because people used to using Gmail are just going to hit Send without thinking.

nothing innovative here! Now that google doc’s integrates with salesforce the question is how open will the api’s and integration points be such that salesforce competitors like siebel, onyx, sap even mscrm etc can integrate there applications thru it….

This is a really cool demo. Not only is it visually exciting, I totally get what they’re trying to convey.

Thanks Edit. I used Cinema 4D for the 3D shots and After Effects for compositing and the screenshot animations.

What software did you use to create the 3D feel of the screenshots, mouseclick, etc. Very nicely done! :)
