I don’t use anything except water. No soap, conditioner, shampoo, washcloths, skin brushing, etc. All a waste of money. All I use on my skin is oil mostly to shave. Skin will naturally exfoliate. No need for brushing the skin. That will just damage it and make it looks red.

    HI Annmarie,

Could you recommend a good natural shampoo and body care (body wash & lotion) product? I’ve been using Burts Bees shampoo, they are really not that good.

    Your response is most appreciative.

    Sincerely

My friends have been using Ojon from the rain forests, which is suppose to be natural, however it is too costly for my pocketbook, what do you think of Ojon Products, and Are they really all Natural?

I’m very new with starting to live naturally. So, I just stumbled upon your videos and other raw/living naturally videos for some beginner tips! The both of you are adorable :o )

I use Burt’s Bees and I love it. I already feel the difference from other cosmetic brands and my skin looks sooo much better! My boyfriend also switched to using Burt’s and it cleared up his acne like nothing else… & he has tried MANY MANY different acne solutions. I’m a total Burt’s fan. :o )

On another note, you two really are the cutest couple ever. It’s charming to watch you two, a gift really. Radiance and wit. Keven, I still crack up from the video of you exercising that hotel room – I believe in San Francisco – and you were recording, got loud and woke up the neighbors who started banging on the wall… all documeted on film hahah love it!!!

The best skin products I have used and am currently using are skin brushing and exfoliating, hot steam, pure aromatherapy extract (tree trea, ecaluptos – spelling!?, citrus, mint, etc) and RAW hemp oil – the kind people consume… raw olive oil works great as well. Fresh raw aloe is also divine for healing/mending. I have come to prefer as close to the earth as possible but do use Dr. Bronners. In a perfect world I would use everything straight from the earth. Hair styling produce = my weakness

Bunnie Gulick – Founder of ISun :)

I use Talulah Skincare, a local company here in Portland. I use their products because they are organic, simple, and local. They don’t contain any chemicals and I can pronounce every ingredient. I try to buy locally as much as I can, which is pretty easy to do here.

Because cosmetics and compliment a healthy diet. For example, a study found that lutein enhanced the skin hydration, elasticity and decreasing oxidation. However, when they used 10mg of lutein (which found in kale, spinach) + topical lutein. The benefit was even greater. I have thick hair, clear eyes, clear skin, I look 8-9 years younger than my age. But this is because I combine skin care with an excellent diet ;)
