Question by fragile.: would anyone buy used shampoo and other beauty products?
i have a box of beauty products down stair that i will never use. most of it is used once or twice and it made me really itchy (i have super sensitive skin) . i was thinking of listing is as a box of shampoo and beauty products on kijiji or craigslist. do you think any one would buy it? or would i be wasting my time making a list of all this stuff?

I doubt it to be honest, its pretty cheap to buy shampoo etc. and most people wouldn’t dream of paying for opened bottles that’ve been in some-one else’s shower.
I also think the person who said donate it somewhere has the right idea.
Probably not… most beauty products lose their potency after about a year anyways. I doubt anyone would want opened shampoo or makeup, unfortunately. Sorry!
People love buying used sundry products. Especially ones that make some people itch. Ask for top dollar. You can always negotiate down. do you have any used shower soap?
I would make sure if you used any thing that touched your eye or lips, then wipe it off good or even cut the end off with a knife.
I know many people who do that, just make sure it’s clean first before putting it on a website.
Im a trainee hairdresser so personally i wouldn’t by any used products, especially if it made your scalp itchy thats not a good sign also it may mean that products in the shampoos are not natural, But its worth a try u never know somebody may want them!! good luck
I honestly don’t think that, in this economy, when people are signing up for food stamps and such, that you’re going to have much luck selling a box of old have used “beauty” products. I’m sorry, but I’m just being honest. Sorry if I couldn’t help. -john in Iowa
